1. 'Dorubucci' was released on 1 May, 2014.
2. The song features Mavin Records CEO Don Jazzy and only the artists signed to the label: Tiwa SavageDr SIDD’Prince, Reekado Banks, Korede Bello and Di’Ja.

3. Dr Sid and Don Jazzy put out a highlife version of the song less than seven days after the original one was released.
4. In an interview with the Vanguard, Dr Sid explained the meaning of 'Dorobucci'. He said "Dorobucci means a person or an individual that is awesome, amazing, rich, swagged-out, sexy and buff.
"Any word that qualifies greatness, that’s Dorobucci. ‘Bucci’ means anything that is amazing, fun. Doro makes Bucci a person, Doro personifies Bucci so you’re Doro, and I’m Doro", the 'Baby Tornado’ crooner said.

5. Nigerians converted the word ‘Doro’ into an adjective. ‘Doro’: a suffix from the word 'Dorobucci', used to emphasize a point.
6. The music video for the song was filmed in South Africa and directed by Nick Roux of Molotov Cocktail Productions.

7. On 3 October 2014, the hit song was voted the Beat of Lagos2014.
8. MTV Base and Basketmouth created a 'Dorobucci' spoof video which stars the comedian creating a signature dance move and stepping around Lagos to the infectious tune. The video features a cameo appearance from Dr Sid and several other Nigerian celebrities.
9. There is a Nollywood movie inspired by the song title. The film called ‘Dorobucci Love’ stars comedian John Okafor.
